LM.C – Picking up the pieces (part 1/2)
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Aiji and Maya have an argument and Maya confides in his diary.
Warnings: pissed off Aiji, drama queen Maya, some slight angst (if you squint enough)
Pairings: Aiji/Maya
Pre Notes: Why write this? Because I haven’t seen many LM.C fics and they need some love too, people! And because I think Maya is the cutest thing ever (next to Miku and Bou, of course ^_^).

Dear diary,
I don’t wanna write about what happened the other day because it’s kind of depressing. But I guess it’ll help if I let it out. Okay, here goes.
After a day of recording, Aiji and myself returned to the apartment we share. I told you we moved in together to manage to save more money (as if money’s a problem for us) and to be able to work more efficiently.
Anyway, Aiji said he was going to read a book and if I was hungry I could eat without him ‘cause he wasn’t. I fished around the fridge and found two unopened boxes of Chinese and before I could ask something, I heard Aiji shouting from the living room that I could have one. So I did.
After eating I got changed and started to get bored. What do I do when I get bored? Tease Aiji, of course. I got a lollypop and went to the living room where he sat on the couch, reading. I sat beside him, stood still for about a minute and shoved the lollypop in his face. He gave me a warning “Maya!” as usual and I took my hand back, then I shoved the lollypop in his face again. He told me he wasn’t in the mood for my childishness but he always says that, yet he ends up laughing at my jokes or when I tickle him every time. How was I supposed to know he really wasn’t?!
Anywho, after he told me that, I got up from the couch, went into the kitchen and left the lollypop on the table (it was still unwrapped) and went behind the couch, towering over Aiji. I started tickling him and when he doubled over I thought I had him right were I wanted. But he grabbed my hands, threw them aside and slammed his book on the coffee table so hard it resounded in the entire apartment.
He got up from the couch and with an angry face came in front of me and started shouting. I’ve never seen him shout at anybody. He asked me why couldn’t I listen to what he said and why couldn’t I act my own age. That really hurt. I kept a calm face trough his outburst and when I told him that’s just who I was and I couldn’t change he slapped me. He friggin’ slapped me! And it wasn’t a chick-intensity-slap either, let me tell you! The man has a heavy hand.
I was really shocked and couldn’t stand in front of him anymore so I dashed for my room and locked the door. About half a minute later, I reckon, I heard him knocking on my door and calling my name. I could still distinguish the anger in his voice so not wanting to get yelled at again I didn’t open the door. I sat on the floor, put my arms on my knees and my head on them. I kept saying silent apologies and I didn’t realize I had been crying until I got a hold of my nerves and saw my sleeves were soaked. I ventured out of my room and I saw that Aiji was asleep in his room. At least I didn’t have to face him then.
I didn’t even have the courage to face him all day today and although he can’t see this, I’m sorry I went overboard with the teasing yesterday.
Aiji couldn’t believe he had made Maya cry. He knew he would be upset, perhaps bitchy, but didn’t think he would cry.
Aiji didn’t come into Maya’s room to read his diary on purpose; he wanted to talk to him about what happened the other day and apologize but the blond wasn’t there. Then Aiji saw his diary flat open on his bed and curiosity got the better of him.
He looked for Maya around the apartment and heard the shower running so he went and sat on the couch until Maya was done. When he heard the bathroom door open, he got up and went into the hall.
Upon seeing Aiji, Maya brought his gaze down and quickened his pace to get to his room fast. Before he could close the door, Aiji was already in.
“Aiji, I… I’m…” he stuttered.
“Maya look at me.” He cupped the blonde’s chin, brought his gaze up and placed his other hand on Maya’s arm.
“Listen, I’m sorry for my outburst the other day. Whatever foul mood I was in, I shouldn’t have shouted at you and said the things I said.”
Maya just stared and finally he snapped back to reality. Taking Aiji’s hand from his chin in his, he looked straight at the guitarist.
“I should be apologizing too. I’m always teasing you when I’m bored and I don’t think that maybe you’re not in the mood.”
Aiji smiled at that. “That’s just you – always trying to bring smiles to people’s faces. Also I have to apologize for making you cry.”
“What? How’d you know about that?” Maya stared wide-eyed at Aiji, who blushed and looked sheepishly downward.
“I kind of… found your diary open on your bed earlier, when I came to talk to you.”
“Oh…” He let go of Aiji’s hand and with index finger started playing with his lower lip, a sign he was nervous.
“I apologize for that too.” Aiji said and started stroking Maya’s cheek with the back of his hand. “You’re always the happy one and mood lifter. I don’t want to see you cry and I’m sorry I was the one who made you sad.”
He leaned closer and closer and touched his lips to Maya’s. The hand that that was on Maya’s cheek trailed down to his neck and went through his hair while the hand that was on the blonde’s arm went to his chest. Maya brought his hands up and wrapped them around Aiji’s neck, kissing back.
Breaking away from the kiss, Maya turned a surprised face to the guitarist. “Aiji, you… you just kissed me…”
“And you kissed back.” he chuckled.
“I guess I did.” Maya stuck his tongue out a little, something that Aiji always found terribly cute about the vocalist.
“Can I make all this up to you?” he asked with a quite serious tone.
“Depends on how you wanna do it.” Maya smiled and Aiji saw that glint of mischief he always saw in the blonde’s eyes.
Aiji kissed him again and his hand went down Maya’s side to the towel around his waist and let it fall to the floor.
Post Notes:
1. A pissed off Aiji would be scary. In my opinion at least.
2. I have the other part typed but I need to proof read it and see if I have to make any more changes. Tomorrow at the latest I’ll post it.
3. This isn’t actually a note, but just two seemed to be so little. *retard*
